Fimple provides a core banking software that enables banks, fin-techs and non-bank financial institutions to launch new products faster while also reducing their infrastructure maintenance costs. We are a product focused high-growth scale-up in the expansion and internationalisation faces.
We are seeking a hands-on and strategic Vice President of Finance to build up Fimple’s finance function from scratch. You will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial planning and analysis, reporting, fundraising, accounting and operations. Over your time as Fimple grows you will hire, manage and develop finance team members.
This is a key leadership role that will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the executive team, board and investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts. Support management team and functional managers with data, KPIs and analysis. Analyze key financial metrics to guide decision-making and be a strategic soundboard to the CEO, management team and the board of directors.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial performance. Prepare financial statements, KPIs and reports to Fimple’s management team, investors and board.
- Capital Raisings: Preparing materials for board meetings, fundraising rounds, and investor updates. Assist in securing venture capital and other funding sources.
- Accounting & operations : Oversee the implementation of accounting best practises, system set-up, tax reporting, audit, internal controls and processes.
- Team building: Build a high performing finance team that together can deliver all of the above.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior finance role, ideally within a high-growth technology startup environment, in investment banking, or at a top advisory firm
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
- Excellent communication skills in Turkish and English, with the ability to present financial data and strategic recommendations to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- A hands-on approach with the ability to operate at both the strategic and tactical levels.
- Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (e.g., ARR, MRR, churn rate, customer acquisition costs, LTV).
- Strong track record of capital raising, investor relations, and working with venture capitalists.
- Experience leading and scaling finance teams.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA
