We are looking for a talented Technical Writer to join our team and help us create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation that supports our innovative products. You will work closely with our development, product, and support teams to produce high-quality documentation that helps our users understand and utilize our products effectively.
What Will The Right Person Look Like?
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the banking, financial services, or software development industry.
- Exceptional command of the English language, with outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of banking industry terminology, processes, and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks with competing priorities.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages is an advantage but not required.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Develop, write, and maintain high-quality technical documentation for our banking software products, including user guides, API documentation, installation manuals, and release notes.
- Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to gather information and translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand documentation.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with product releases and updates.
- Create and maintain templates and standards for documentation to ensure consistency across all product materials.
- Work closely with the application support team to produce FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and other resources to assist end-users.
- Participate in the review and editing of content created by other team members to ensure clarity, accuracy, and quality.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in technical writing to continuously improve the quality of our documentation.
- Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project deadlines.
