We are seeking an experienced QC Test Engineer to join our team and handle the testing, documentation and support of our core banking modules. As a QC Chapter Lead at Fimple, you will be responsible for ensuring that the quality of our modules meet our customers’ expectations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in QC processes, loves testing, have excellent communication skills, and experience in the banking industry and automation approaches.

What Will The Right Person Look Like?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant financial services software experience as test engineer in the areas of Customer, Deposit, Accounting, Loan, Transfers, Financial Analysis.
  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, apply judgment, maintain stable performance under stress, and demonstrate flexibility in an evolving work environment.
  • Experience with Agile development and Scrum/Kanban processes, or an alternative SDLC management process.
  • Experience in preparing all QC related processes, documentations and owning the process end to end.
  • Experience in preparing written documentations and providing support to the customers.
  • Experience in test automation tools like selenium, playwright, API testing tools.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Working as a Chapter lead of QC team members who will work in product teams.
  • Collaborating with product managers/owners, product teams and track performance of QC team members.
  • Guide, coach and improve qc team members.
  • Ensuring to deliver a high quality and documented product to the customer.
  • Defining and owning end to end QC metrics and regularly reporting to management.
  • Building and maintaining a strong practical knowledge of the QC processes.
  • Supporting QC team members to create web-test automations.
  • Helping frontend developers to prepare web-test automations.
  • Owning and maintaining usage of QC related tools like selenium, playwright, API testing etc.
